Mum seeks men who found her purse

Posted by Ed Saunt on Aug 22, 08 12:15 PM in Good Causes

WHEN Iona Ovenell returned home from a frantic search of Staines for her lost purse she was amazed to return home and find it in her 12-year-old son's hand.

But young Cameron is no pickpocket - her wallet had been handed in by two good samaritans who had found it on Kingston Road.

And now the mother-of-three wants to thank the two skip men who found her purse on Friday(22) morning after she had driven off from Spelthorne leisure centre in Knowle Green with it lying on the bonnet.

Iona, of Hensworth Road, Ashford, said: "It was huge relief because it had my bank cards, Thorpe Park tickets and my baby photos in there. I don't know what I would do without it. It was great that they dropped it round because you don't get good deeds like that every day."
