Girl in serious condition after Ashford crash
A 17-year-old girl was seriously injured after a crash at the junction of Kenilworth Road and Avondale Road in Ashford on Monday.
She was a passenger in a black Ford Ka which collided with a white van at about 12.25pm and had to be airlifted to Royal London Hospital where she is now in a stable condition.
The driver of the car - another 17-year-old girl - and a 17-year-old boy travelling in the back seat also suffered minor injuries and were treated in St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey.
Police closed the road for five hours while they cleared and investigated the scene and are appealing for anyone with information to contact the Surrey Police collision investigation unit on 01483 639922.

yet another accident at this junction.
living on kenilworth road and seeing all the hard work the emergency services put in on monday showed how dangerous these juntions are.
please could everyone slow down on local roads and abide with highways regulations.
nobody was meant to get hurt.it was a lack of judgement caused by inexperience. but im sure the drivers did not mean for this to happen and it did not envolve speed as speed limits were not broken in that accident.
I was nearly involved in a accident at the same junction this morning. I was turning right from Kenilworth Road into Avondale Road heading for the A30. The reason I nearly had an accident was the parked cars on the right which belong to the workers of Ruddick builders. I couldnt see any cars, a car on my left, flashed me to come out, if I had I would have been hit by the car coming from the A30.
i was in the car and the 1 injured. it was only the lack of experiance and that was in september i'm fine now. just the odd remembering problem.
