School choir performs for BP workers
The Spelthorne Junior School choir performed Christmas carols for BP staff at the oil giant's Sunbury headquarters.
Their visit was made as part of a link-up with the company, which for the last two years has sent volunteers to the school to help children with reading.
Teacher Debbie Warnell sent the 19-strong choir as a thank you gesture from the school in Feltham Hill Road, Ashford, saying: "The children sang for an hour and were rewarded with warm applause from the employees."
The performance, on December 9, came after the choir had entertained shoppers at the Two Rivers shopping centre in Staines, where they delighted passers-by in the main concourse with a medley of festive carols.
