DRAWN-Together: Tooning night and day...

It's been a busy couple of weeks for me. First I had my graphics shown on primetime national television with a GREAT review and then in the papers which spawned some internet media coverage from MSN also which is kinda funky.

I even managed to get to meet up with a new design company on Wednesday who are very interested in my graphics and working with them.... hopefully not freelanced but inhouse would be nice.

I finally managed to get time to finnish the last of the housemate designs the other day and now I can get cracking with the more entertaining satirical ones.. kinda like the spot toons you get in the newspaper... talking of which I was also in another local newspaper with my illustration of Alan Keen and his expenses claimes... that was Friday, so I wonder what next week will bring.

The BBTOONS is getting more interesting now for me as I have a good idea of housemates and I have been reworking their cartoons I already created so that when I do the spot satirical toons I can add more character and make it a lot more interesting... I have just started a new eviction picture of Angel where I totally redesigned her, but now she has a look that blends with the new characters also... I will have to do the same thing with a couple of the ones I did at the start.. but thats half the fun as now I can use my own drawings for inspiration... so I am copying off myself! "Is that cheating?"

I was also contacted by a recording company I used to know about working on some projects in the near future and just to cap things off I had a personal invite to the Civic Business Lunch from the Lady Mayor herself who I am cartooning as Betty Boo or Wonderwoman next week.

So things are moving along and with a connection I made with a company back in January I may be the illustrative arm of a well respected design company also.

So things going well :)

Here is a BIG version of the illustration that got in the local papers about Alan Keen taht I created... took about 1.5 days to complete fully.
