A vintage Victorian helter skelter and 46 themed Christmas trees were two of the festive frolics going on in Spelthorne at the weekend.
On Saturday November 28 in St Matthews Church, Ashford, the 11th annual Christmas tree festival took place, which saw schools, brownie and scout groups, and shopkeepers decorate trees to their own theme.

Two homeless people who have been harassing commuters at Ashford and Egham train stations for the past year have been given anti-social behaviour orders.
Trevor Davison, 29, and Kerri Turner, 20, had been begging, drinking, and causing a nuisance at the stations, in Station Road respectively.

The event, in Chuch Road, will be opened by pupils from Echelford School and in the evening the Mayor of Spelthorne Caroline Spencer will attend a concert by the Spelthorne Young Voices at 7pm.

A Spelthorne councillor has donated £200 to Ashford Breast Cancer Support to help them print information leaflets.
Ashford Common councillor George Trussler gave the money from his better neighbourhood grant scheme, a £750 budget for members to spend on community projects in their ward.
Firefighters were called to a residential address in Ashford on Wednesday to remove a pensioner's rings.
At 12.45pm crews from Staines visited the woman, who had three rings on her wedding finger in need of removal.
The firemen cut through the rings, which had been on her finger for 65-years.
