Kids go Halloween crazy in Ashford

Posted by Mark Goode on Nov 4, 09 12:50 PM in Clubs/societies

A large Halloween party was put on in Ashford on Friday October 30.

The Secret Playhouse, in Woodthorpe Road hosted the event, which saw 45 children, aged from six weeks old to seven, dress up as ghost, zombies, and vampires, to celebrate the day.

The playgroup, which has existed for four years, put on a bouncy castle, ball pen, and bicycles so the children could have fun.

Owner Wendy Croxford, said: "It was fantastic. I hold a Halloween party every year, and the tickets always get sold out really quickly. The children can't really go trick or treating at that age, so I put it on so they have something to do."

A party was held the same day for seven to 13-year-olds, and Ms Croxford also puts on Christmas party for the children each year as well.

We'd like to hear from you.
